Sometimes we don't know when a photo was mad. One of the ways you can help narrow it down is to determine what type of photo it is. Today we are gathering info on Tintypes.
TIN TYPE GENERAL INFO
Tintypes were Introduced in 1856 and popular until about 1867. But tintype photo studios were still around into the early 1900s as a novelty.
